Not today sunshine!

When you’ve not had the greatest day and ya just wanna go home to cleanse your soul and life says…. “Oh hell no! Not today sunshine! I’m gonna throw another curve ball at ya!” There is never a dull moment in my life!

I walked around the corner from behind my bungalow tonight and there she was right at my steps blocking me from going in. Needless to say, I was a little startled!! These are new cows and we haven’t met close up until now!

I followed her around while she continued to eat grass all over the property. Keeping my distance, as an employee joined. Finally as she got a little closer to the barn, my past experience in wrangling the cows we had before came in handy! Me and the employee (a very thin, young girl from Jamaica who had never wrangled a cow and really wanted to see me get chased by it…. rude!) got her in the gate.

Finally the owner of the cows arrived, I told him we got her in and all I could think of is: “I’m from Georgia” but he wouldn’t have understood that because he’s from Brazil! I think he probably got it when I tried to hand him my pocket knife to open the bag of grain!
