About Us

I have often wondered what my “purpose” is in life.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a physical therapist.  The thought of helping others was always at the forefront of my mind.  I believe this has much to do with the culture I was raised in, the community in which I was surrounded. When early adulthood came, my focus was on being free and living life.  I am still very much that way but a little more tame. Some may beg to differ. So much of my life has been wrapped around and focused on my own situations.  During those moments in my life, I wasn’t sure how to help myself, let alone others.

It was through the help of others and my children that I was able to find strength.

For without them, I would not be who I am.

Without them, I would be lost.

Without them, I would not have found my purpose.

They are my “soul shines”.

My name is Rachel Justice.

“I am nobody. Nobody is perfect. Therefore I am perfect.”

This quote hangs on my wall. A gift from my sister, the same sister who after I told her I wanted to start a blog, called me one night and said, “You need a name.”

I have always called those who lift my spirits, who know me true to my core in many different ways, my “soul shines”.

And so I am born, into what I love doing the most….

a soul shine shine to those I meet and love, who in turn become a soul shine for me.
