Go for it, I don’t need privacy.

I really didn’t think I’d have anything to write on this leg. It’s a short 40 minute flight and not very exciting. The plane is so loud that you can’t really make friends and talk. But here we go!

Five passengers, a pilot and a copilot on this little plane. I don’t think the lady sitting beside me had flown on one of the small planes before. I’m not sure but she looked at me when we took off and I gave her a wink and a smile of reassurance. She smiled back, possibly to give me a look of reassurance! Mike, on the other hand, must be a frequent flyer because everyone knew his name. I feel like I’m a frequent flyer but they have yet to recognize me. Instead I got a pat down going thru security in MV. Evidently my jeans were so tight it looked like I had something in my crotch. Or that’s the excuse she used as to why there was a big yellow warning highlighted in that area. Go figure! There was also highlighted areas where my watch and bracelets are. Seriously though, my jeans are not that tight although they are skinny jeans and a size smaller than I typically buy! I thought they were comfortable otherwise I wouldn’t have worn them but now I’m beginning to wonder if I should change. She asked if I wanted a private pat down or was it ok standing there, in front of everyone. I said, “Go for it, I don’t need privacy.” She proceeded to pat my legs, arms and running her fingers thru my waste band. She scanned my hands for “chemicals” and I was cleared, of course.

Despite the wind boarding the plane, the flight started out relatively smooth although it was nothing but fog! I laid my head against the glass thinking I’d catch a short nap and whoosh… here we go, the potholes in this little Volkswagen began. My pants felt tighter, my stomach in knots, my head heavy and I was sweating! Geez the heat in those airplanes really work well!! The plane was swerving of what felt like a boat in the ocean or a rollercoaster ride. When we land and I step off the plane, I’m met with a cold breeze and a wet snow blowing. Heat to cold in a matter of moments did not help.

Thank goodness my next flight is not for a couple hours cause I think I need time to recover from that ride and maybe change into leggings!
