Of course you did!
Last night I ordered pizza at the hotel restaurant. I had a couple pieces left over so I boxed them up. After I got settled in my room, I realized I left my pizza so I darted out with a key I had in my wallet. When I walked into the hallway, I saw a bunch of young boys. One was holding a camera while the others stood by. I said hello, jumped in the elevator, grabbed my pizza and came back to my room where my key didn’t work. I evidently had grabbed a key I had prior. I ran back downstairs, grabbed another key and came back up meeting the same boys. I asked them, “What are you boys up to?” They told me they were filming a music video. I asked who the artist was (he was in the elevator), I introduced myself and got his name so I could look him up.
Finally, I went back to my room and a great nights sleep! I woke up, grabbed some coffee, threw my bags in my car and headed home.
I met my daughter, Cierra, for a late lunch and came back home crawling into bed. Oakley came home and crawled in bed with me, cuddling up to his mama. I love those moments!
I received a text from Alex (my flight buddy) and this picture from my sister in law, Malisha, asking if I knew this guy! He was at UJ. Me and Oakley had planned to go to dinner so we jumped in the car and headed over to say hello.
When Alex came in, he asked for DJ and told them he had met his girlfriends mom on the plane ride. Malisha said, “Of course you did!” and explained that she is my sister in law. Although I had given him her name too! I introduced him to Oakley and they swapped some language that Oakley had learned. Alex was impressed with his pronunciation of the South African language. Who knew!?!
Me and Oakley left and had a wonderful dinner together. I am worn out and so so happy to be home with my favorite soul shines!!
