I will never have this moment again

A dear friend shared a different version of this with me a couple of years ago but I wanted to create my own version so of course, I did! I cannot count the number of times I have listened to this. It has become a part of me.

My great nephew asked me, “Why do I take so many pictures?” and I said…. “because I will never have this moment again.” He assured me I would but I said…. “no, not THIS moment, not this way.” I’m not sure he understood what I meant but then again, he thinks my music is weird so there’s that!

Being able to spend moments with family made my trip! Receiving hugs when I walked through the door from those I missed while I was away, made me smile! I look forward to more moments with those I love. Those who make my soul shine!

As I laid my head down last night and woke up this morning in my own bed, my heart is full.
